REVIEW: Chicco Feeding Bottles

Product Description:
Please refer to Chicco's website.

Price:
PHP890-ish ($21) for 3 bottles of 150ml. (what I bought)

Bought at:
Baby Company, SM City Iloilo

Likes:
  • Doesn't make my baby colicky.
  • Durable; no deformities despite that they are always dropped from a high surface.
  • Doesn't leak.
  • The prints on the bottle are still intact (8 months of usage as to date).
  • Light-weight; my baby could easily practice holding her feeding bottle.
Dislike:
  • The bottle has become a little bit yellowish.

Will I repurchase?

I'm okay with repurchasing but I don't have the urge to do so. I don't like that it turned a little bit yellowish in time, probably due to sterilizing, when you take a closer look. I'd still want my baby's feeding bottles to look nice and presentable overtime. I'd say that Chicco Feeding Bottles are the dupe for Philips' Avent Feeding Bottles; they have the same durability and are really anti-colic. If you're on a budget but would still want an Avent-ish feeding bottles (and doesn't mind if the bottles become a bit yellowish), Chicco ones are worth the try.

REVIEW: Enfant Anti-Rash Baby Powder

Product Description:

A pure natural sterilized talcum powder that gently protects baby's delicate skin against irritatin and rashes while keeping baby's skin dry and comfortable.  Contains allantain to protect baby's skin from pollution.

Price:
PHP159.75 ( $4)

Size:
500g

Bought at:
Gaisano City Mall (Iloilo City, Philippines)

(back portion)

Likes:
  • Effective in preventing and getting rid of skin rash (diaper and prickly heat).
  • 500g lasted for five months.
  • Affordable.
  • Has a gentle scent.
  • Filipino-made (Proudly Pinoy!)

Dislike:
  • Sae Hee's underarms turned dark when I started to apply it on those areas.
Tips:

It is said that we should avoid letting the baby inhale the powder dust because it can make him acquire Asthma. However, I need to put powder on Sae Hee's neck because it can get sweaty; we live in a tropical country so sweating is VERY NORMAL. The sweat can trigger skin rash.

What I do is I just scoop powder using my fingers and pat it onto her neck, chest and back in a "spreading motion". This lessens the flying powder dust.

(bottom portion)

Will I repurchase?

Heck, yeah! It gets the job done at PHP159.7 ($4)! It saved me PHP798.75 ($19) in five months! Who wouldn't want that?!? I just stopped putting powder on Sae Hee's underarms to solve the little problem. Her underarms are now getting back to its normal color.
